Turkey Creek Ranch has a good combination of grass and browse. There are two deeded parcels, one with 51+/- acres and another with 49+/- acres, both situated along scenic creeks with Sycamore and Cottonwood trees. The ranch includes a USFS grazing permit on approximately 32,000 acres. For 2019 the ranch is currently stocked at approixmately 250 head.
The headquarters is nestled along scenic Turkey Creek a tree lined, spring fed perennial stream; and includes a three bedroom, two bath home; a one bedroom, one bath cabin; and a two bedroom single wide bunk house. Also included at the headquarters are barns, tack room; well and well house; laundry house; generator shed and battery storage room; small pens for poultry with a hen house and another set of small pens for other small animals; a fenced garden area and numerous mature apple and peach trees. The headquarters is solar powered with a backup generator, has propane gas, internet and satellite TV is available. There is a small irrigated pasture.
Another rustic cabin and a solar well are situated along tree lined Pigeon Creek, located on the second parcel of deeded land. Water from this well is piped to various locations on the ranch. There is also a spring and set of wire corrals at this site.
There are four sets of corrals used by the ranch some are shared; several water lots/traps; two wells both on deeded land; 16 +\- dirt tanks; three year round springs and numerous intermittent springs and creeks.
The country is varied and consists of juniper, pinyon with a few scattered pines, mesquite, oak brush, and grama grasses are predominate. The terrain is mountainous with good access to the headquarters. There are several jeep/ATV trails but for the most part this ranch is a horseback ranch with canyons, ridges, and rock outcroppings interspersed with steep to rolling grass lands. AZ State Highway 191 provides paved access to within 1.5 miles of the ranch boundary. There are numerous switchbacks on portions of this highway.
